1. How do I order a portrait?
The easiest way is to complete my portrait enquiry form or you can contact me by email or phone stating your requirements. I will then contact you confirming your information and will also give you the price for your portrait and an estimated completion date.

2. How many reference photos can I send?
You can send as many reference photographs as you wish.

3. How big should the reference photos be?
If you are downloading them from your digital camera keep them at their original size and don't resize them. If you are scanning your photographs a resolution of 300dpi will be sufficient.

4. Can I supply photos to be used as a background?
Yes. Just send me a photograph of the background you want and I will incorporate it into your portrait.

5. What if I want a different size portrait?
The sizes that are shown on my portrait prices page are the most common sizes but I can work to any dimensions you wish. Just let me know and I will send you a quote for the price.

6. Can you produce a portrait from old photographs?
Yes. You can send me the photograph or have it scanned and emailed to me and I will let you know if I am able to use it.

7. When do I pay
I ask for a deposit of 50% when I confirm your order. Once your portrait is completed and you have approved the digital copy I have sent you then I will ask for payment of the remaining amount.

8. Do you offer a 100% money back guarantee
I am pleased to say that this has never happened but in the unlikely event that you are not happy with your portrait you may return it to me and I will give you a full refund.

9. Can I cancel my order
Yes you can cancel your order but if I have started your portrait there will be a 20% cancellation fee.

10. What if my portrait gets damaged during delivery
Your portrait will be well packaged but if it should arrive damaged you can send it back to me in its original packaging and I will either repair or replace it.

11. What happens to my reference photographs after the portrait is completed?
Any photographs posted to me will be sent back with your portrait. All digital photographs will be kept until your portrait has arrived safely then they will be deleted.

12. Are my personal details secure
Absolutely. Your personal details will be kept on file for any additional orders you may want in the future. Your details will not be used for any other purpose and will not be passed on to any third party.

13. Are your portraits framed?
No the portraits are not framed. Frames are a personal choice and best decided by the customer along with a picture framer as it depends on hanging location and surrounding décor.
